Lambda Cables was acquired
by Aberdare Cables (Pty) Ltd. In 1998 and became
a division of their operations. Lambda is proud to
be associated with Aberdare Cables (Pty) Ltd who
resorts under the Power Technologies Limited group
of companies and as a member of the Altron Group
has grown to the largest power electronics group
in South Africa. Providing the local and international
markets with the widest range of products.
Lambda has been manufacturing cable since 1988 and has grown its staff compliment to 82 workers and 29 administrators. Lambda Cables, as a ISO 9001 compliant company, has grown to the biggest
local manufacturer of unshielded twisted pair (UTP
Data Cable) in South Africa supplying cable to
the DELTA and UL certification
standards.
Furthermore, Lambda
supplies their customers with Indoor telephone
cable, Instrument cable and Fire Alarm cable. With
the help of our on-site laboratory equipped with
the latest technology, we can confidently analyse
most cables and would therefore consider other
specialized cables.
Our sales are channelled
through a network of local distributors and we
are proud to have established a loyal association
with these distributors.
